This may be my last comments on Rewire with Mixcraft 8 pro. If I touched the transport functions on the the Ableton side, it seemed to always crash the DAW's. Note: only use the the transport functions(record/play etc) on the Mixcraft side. Not sure if that is all you can do with rewire is just use sounds from the slave DAW. Then on another track record midi for Mixcraft sound and when done doing a playback should play both the Ableton and the Mixcraft tracks and hear the sounds. I need to now assign one of my default midi tracks above and select for Ableton and then do my recording on the mixcraft side on that track to play that Ableton sound when done recording.Ĩ. That arm I turned on is just turning on the rewire enable for Ableton communications which shows up at the bottom of all my tracks in mixcraft.ħ. Mixcraft always has to be loaded first, select rewire option, then load Ableton.Īfter watching a youtube video with a person doing a rewire of FL Studio to Mixcraft, After I do my initial steps in my first reply, I think I need to do the following.Ħ. Like I said this is all new to me and just trying to learn this feature and what I could do with it by working with 2 or more DAW's at the same time. Greg or anyone, is there a video/tutorial on setup for rewire with Mixcraft 8 Pro? I found one on youtube, but he doesnt explain his setup very well if at all. I have searched this forum and found out that I can only rewire certain other DAW's to Mixcraft 8 pro, not the other way, Is this still true? Will Mixcraft in the future be able to be rewired and used by another DAW?
